Open AI Ideas on any day of your trip and you get a handful of suggestions around that day's route — sights and activities, restaurants, or places to charge. Pick a focus (playgrounds, castles and views, restaurants, fast chargers, nature walks) or just ask in your own words: "a quiet playground", "a castle with a view", "somewhere to swim".

Tuned to your travellers

The suggestions follow what you told the trip about who is travelling:

• Children and their ages — with a family tip on each suggestion, such as which trail suits a five-year-old.
• Diet — restaurant ideas come with notes for vegetarians, pescatarians or whatever you set.
• Your vehicle — for electric cars, nearby chargers can come up alongside the sights.

Keep the ones you love

Each idea has an Add to day button. It joins that day of the plan, appears on the route map and travels with the trip into your booklet and your shared travel page.

Ideas are generated suggestions, so treat them like a recommendation from a well-read friend: a great starting point that is worth a quick check. Opening times, prices and seasonal closures change — the link on each place opens it in Google Maps so you can confirm the details.
